Instructions
Instructions :
Mix together all the dry ingredients except the baking powder.
Put the yellow mustard in another bowl with 2/3 cups of water.
Add 1/3 cup of the flour mixture to the yellow mustard mixture and stir.
Add the baking powder to the flour mixture.
Dip the Chicken chunks in the mustard mixture and coat evenly.
Dip the chicken in the flour mixture and coat evenly.
I prefer to use two bowls with tops to put the chicken substitute in the bowl and shake it up.
Place the chicken in the oil. I cook it on medium heat. I cook it for about 10 mins.
Note:
Season the chicken substitute and let it sit overnight. It does not HAVE to sit overnight, but it is recommended to season the chicken first and let it sit for a little while. Consider using an air fryer for an even healthier alternative.
