It's the Final Countdown!

BODi Launching Sept 21

Beachbody on Demand is leveling up with their new state-of-the-art streaming platform BODi (Beachbody on Demand Interactive), bringing the fun and connectivity of live workouts into your home!

BODi features virtual group exercise classes for all fitness levels and will include cycling classes with immersive cycling experience full of energy using Beachbody's new MYX 2.0 bike!

BODi members will also be able to pick from live classes like cardio, HIIT, bootcamp, pilates, barre, core, and yoga.

You’ll see your favorite Beachbody super trainers like Autumn Calabrese, Shaun T, Jericho McMatthews, Joel Freeman, Megan Davies, Idalis Velazquez, Elise Joan, and Amoila Cesar and some new faces like Jennifer Jacobs, a former senior Peloton instructor.

Who is BODi for?
If you’ve ever wanted to just enjoy a workout without committing to a full program, you’re going to love BODi! It will be perfect for anyone who loves Orange Theory, Crossfit, or Barry’s Bootcamp because you can add in classes in a similar way!

How Much Is It?
BODi will be available September 21 at the launch price of $19.95 monthly on top of your normal BOD membership. (Even at the $19.95 a month on top of the annual $99 Beachbody on Demand membership, it’s cheaper than Peloton’s membership service.)

How is BODi Different from Regular BOD?
Beachbody on Demand has over 1000 workouts with popular Beachbody programs like 80 Day Obsession, 21 Day Fix, Insanity, P90X, LIIFT4, and Body Beast just to name a few.

BODi will include new classes every, single day! You’ll be able to mix them into programs or just do the live classes. BODi will also have the music and indoor cycling options, and the chance to be part of the BODcast.

A beta version of BODi is available NOW through the Nutrition+ App at the link below. It's FREE for the first 30 days.

17 Foods for Fall

Whether you’re heading to the supermarket, a farmers’ market, or ordering your groceries online, a bounty of fall fruits and veggies make this season absolutely delicious — and nutritious. Check out this fall grocery list — and delicious recipes — for healthy inspiration!

1. Apples
“Fruit is most nutrient dense and tasty when picked at the peak of its season,” says Quyen Vu, M.S., Beachbody culinary nutrition specialist.

In season during fall, apples are a crispy and juicy whole fruit snack, or chopped up as a crunchy topping on oatmeal and salads.

2. Pumpkin
“It’s delicious sweet or savory and an excellent source of fiber,” says Vu.

Her current obsession is adding it to chia seed pudding with cinnamon. Try it! Shakeology Pumpkin Pie Chia Pudding

3. Butternut Squash
Roasted or in soup, it’s a fall staple with 7 grams of fiber per 1 cup cubed and is high in vitamins A and C.

Try Spicy Butternut Squash Soup

4. Sage
Use this herb fresh or dried to increase flavor without adding salt, recommends Vu. It pairs well with pumpkin, butternut squash, and chicken, among other dishes.

5. Rosemary
This fragrant herb is pretty as a garnish or a tabletop centerpiece and amps up flavor.

“Rosemary always makes me think of roasting chicken or turkey,” says Layer. “Simply tuck fresh rosemary between the skin [and breast] before putting your bird in the oven.”

6. Ginger
“It goes well in broth and gives you a nice warm feeling,” says Vu. It’s an essential component for classic pumpkin pie spice and also kicks up flavor in savory dishes.

7. Cinnamon
A naturally sweet spice, ground cinnamon adds sweetness without added sugar. “Sprinkle some on top of oatmeal with apples for a fall fave,” says Vu.

8. Sweet Potatoes
One medium sweet potato is a good source of fiber and an excellent source of vitamin A.

9. Parsnips
A go-to for stocks, you can keep it simple with this root vegetable. “Instead of potatoes for dinner, roast parsnips with olive oil, salt and pepper,” says Vu.

10. Kale
A hearty pick for autumn salads, a cup of this leafy green is an excellent source of vitamin K. “Kale and pomegranate are a great combo, but I also use it in soup or eat it roasted,” says Vu.

11. Cranberries
Buy these vitamin- and fiber-rich berries fresh or dried. “Keep in mind that some dried cranberries are covered in sugar,” says Layer. “Look for unsweetened ones.”

You can also make an easy low-sugar cranberry sauce.

12. Turkey
“Turkey breast is a great cut of turkey as it is a high-quality protein that is lean and contains B vitamins,” says Vu.

13. Oats
A classic, warm breakfast cereal, oatmeal is also an easy wheat alternative. “Make oat flour from rolled oats in a blender to replace refined white flour, for added fiber and whole grains,” says Vu.

14. Brussels Sprouts
These are in peak season from September to December. Shred raw Brussels sprouts for salad or slaw, or roast them with a tiny bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper.

15. Cauliflower
“There are so many hacks for it — pizza crust, rice, smoothies!” says Vu. This veggie is a good source of vitamin C and folate.

16. Beets
“I like roasting beets for a salad with feta, or grating them into muffin batter with cinnamon and blueberries,” says Layer.

17. Pomegranate
Pomegranate adds crunch to salads, or a “fruited” guacamole mashed with avocado, finely chopped pineapple and apple, plus diced onion.
Tips to Get the Most from Your Outdoor Workout

Want to switch up your exercise routine? Take it outside. Outdoor workouts are an excellent way to connect with nature, and research has found that working out outdoors is associated with increased energy, greater enjoyment, and less tension.

A review of studies also found that exercising outside can make it feel easier to push harder and might even kick up your motivation a couple of notches. Before you slather on the SPF and lace up your shoes, there are some tips to keep in mind to make your outdoor workout as safe and effective as possible.

1. Start hydrated and stay hydrated
Staying hydrated is always important during exercise, but it’s especially important for outdoor workouts.

“Hydrate before, during, and after your workout to prevent heat exhaustion and heat stroke,” says Jerry Yoo, PT, DPT, SFMA, CSCS.

Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink, since that can be a sign of mild dehydration.

2. Shield your skin from the sun
Even if it’s cloudy, you can get a sunburn. Be sure to wear sweat-resistant sunscreen and wear a hat and clothing made out of sun-protective fabric to protect your skin from excess sun exposure.

3. Time it just right
Instead of exercising in the middle of the day, opt for morning workouts or later in the evening when the sun isn’t as strong.

4. Consider your terrain
“Hard pavement can be hard on the body, so try and ‘land softly’ with each step,” Yoo says. Run and walk on trails or a track whenever possible. Your joints will thank you!

5. Pick the right shoes
“Proper footwear is important to minimize shock and pounding on the joints,” Yoo says.

6. Wear bright colors
Neon workout gear isn’t about being trendy. It’s about being safe! Always wear something bright, like a reflective running vest, when exercising outside so drivers can easily spot you. If you head out before dawn or after dusk, add a blinking light so you stay extra safe.

7. Don’t go it alone
Whenever possible, ride, run, or hike with other people instead of alone. This makes any outdoor workout safer, and it’s also a good way to spend time with friends.

Outdoor workouts are one of the best ways to stay socially distanced and connect with family and friends at the same time.

8. Skip the headphones for safety
Music can be motivating, but it can also distract you. Yoo recommends skipping headphones so that you can remain as vigilant as possible. If you absolutely need your music, use one earbud instead of two.

9. Plan your route
If you’re heading into the great outdoors, always have a specific hiking plan in mind — and keep a map with you in case you get lost. Don’t rely on only your phone; you may end up in an area with limited cell coverage.

If you go hiking alone, let a friend or family member know where you’re going. Make sure to bring a light backpack or fanny pack filled with water, sunscreen, snacks, and a form of I.D. with emergency contact information.

10. Dress in layers
When it comes to outdoor workouts, there’s no bad weather, only bad clothes. Dress in layers that are quick-drying and moisture-wicking, like wool or polyester rather than cotton.

11. Get creative with your workouts
You already know about outdoor workouts like running, cycling, hiking, and walking, but there’s no real limit to what you can do outside.

An easy way to enjoy a home workout outside? Grab your laptop, a yoga mat, some weights, and resistance bands into the yard or driveway and stream your favorite workout!

Why Be a Beachbody Coach?

A Team Beachbody Coach helps themself and others live healthier, more fulfilling lives through at-home workouts, nutrition programs, and accountability/support. They love Beachbody products, being a positive force in people’s lives, and providing support and accountability. Some may also be looking for discounts or an additional income opportunity.**

Daily Tasks
Beachbody Coaches typically commit to using the Beachbody workout programs, running a challenge group, and usually use at least one company supplement. The Beachbody Performance Line is really popular (we love pre-workout Energize & post-workout Recover in our home), as well as, collagen, and the meal replacement product, Shakeology.

When Coaches commit to these practices, it’s easier to share about the opportunity because they’re a “product of the product."

Personal development is also highly encouraged! We love The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy and The Daily Devotional For Entrepreneurs by Tisha Hammond for new Coaches!

What Does It Mean to be a Beachbody Coach?
As a Beachbody Coach, you are your own business owner. The Coach opportunity is available now in Canada, the UK, France, and the United States.

A Coach does NOT have to be certified, at their goal weight, nor have perfect habits by any means.

What are the Benefits of Coaching?
There are a ton of incentives! Some reasons I signed up to coach was it didn't cost much to get started, and I needed accountability and I wanted that 25% discount on Shakeology and other supplements. A surprise side benefit, I've been able to help others and made a ton of lifelong friends!

Some perks of being Beachbody Coach:
  • 25% Discount on Shakeology, 10% on clothes
  • Ability to Help Others
  • Accountability & Support
  • Build New Relationships
  • Ability to Earn Trips**
  • Opportunities to Meet the Trainers!
  • Personal Growth
  • Flexible Hours
  • Possibility of Trying New Workouts First
  • No Certifications or Sales Quotas
  • Military "Thank you for your service "Discount
Along with other Coaches I've talked to, I have an overall feeling of fulfillment doing this. It is a ministry for me. I've grown personally and professionally through this access to an exclusive group of other successful business owners.

The training is 100% FREE once you sign up to be a Coach on our team. This is something that may be the answer to your work-from-home/time freedom prayers!
